Art Kit Donation Project

Proceeds from every Sosha Art painting sold helps bring the joy of art to someone else.

Our “Art Kit Donation Project,” started in November 2025, is inspired by the belief that people of all ages in varying circumstances and environments can benefit from moments of creativity. Sosha Art owner and artist, Shivani Sutaria, and her daughter, Sofi, curate, assemble and donate art kits. Each kit is filled with tools and supplies to make art – offering an opportunity for self-expression, artistic exploration or an enjoyable distraction during difficult times or moments of loneliness or boredom.

The art kits are customized based on age and environment. Below are some examples: ​

 young pediatric patients in the hospital: crayons, coloring books and sticker activity sheets

​

Older elementary school-aged children who take home kits after pediatrician visits: advanced coloring books, colored pencils and pencil sharpeners

 

teenagers after a visit to the teen health clinic or a custodial stay: sketch pads, drawing pencils and gel pens

​

older adults at day centers: acrylic paints, canvases with simple designs and wide-handled paint brushes 

 

Other art supplies in the kits have included: blank comic book paper, how to draw guides, stickers, soft pastels, stamps, paper airplane kits, origami paper and instructions, tangram puzzles, construction and blank paper, watercolor paint and watercolor paper, cards and bookmarks
