Words have power - as an attorney, I know this well. There is also power in the moments of thought, contemplation, orchestration, recollection and introspection that precede and follow written and spoken words. This collection, Within Her Own, explores women in these moments of stillness. Each painting portrays a woman with her eyes closed or fully immersed in the present, revealing the strength, clarity, and resilience that arise when she turns inward.
